 I can also switch it up and wear a white tee with a hint of detail, like Acne’s Navid optic tee.

বাংলা চলচ্চিত্রের কিংবদন্তি অভিনেতা নায়করাজ রাজ্জাক। গত ২১ আগস্ট সবাইকে কাঁদিয়ে না ফেরার দেশে চলে যান তিনি। আজ শনিবার বিএফডিসিতে তার স্মরণে শোকসভা ও মিলাদ মাহফিলের আয়োজন করে বাংলাদেশ চলচ্চিত্র পরিবার।

সকাল ১১টায় সদ্য প্রয়াত নায়করাজ রাজ্জাককে নিয়ে শোকসভার আয়োজন করা হয়। এতে উপস্থিত ছিলেন নায়করাজের বড় ছেলে চিত্রনায়ক বাপ্পারাজ। এ সময় তিনি বলেন, ‘আর এফডিসিতে আসবো না যদি আপনারা সকল নিষেধাজ্ঞা, মামলা তুলে না নেন। হয়তো এটাই হবে আপনাদের সঙ্গে শেষ দেখা। আমিও হয় তো ভুল করে অনেক কথা বলেছি। আমাকে ক্ষমা করে দেবেন। আমি ভুল করেছি এজন্য নোটিশ পাঠানোর দরকার নেই, শাকিব ভুল করেছে এজন্য বয়কট করার দরকার কী? শাকিবকে ডাকলে শাকিব আসবে না কেন?’

শোকসভায় চলচ্চিত্রাঙ্গনের গুণী ব্যক্তিবর্গসহ চলচ্চিত্রসংশ্লিষ্টরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন। শোকসভা ছাড়াও দিনব্যাপী নায়করাজকে নিয়ে নানা কর্মসূচির আয়োজন করা হয়েছে।

গত সোমবার সন্ধ্যা ৬টা ১৩ মিনিটে রাজধানীর ইউনাইটেড হাসপাতালে ইন্তেকাল করেন বাংলা চলচ্চিত্রের এ কিংবদন্তি অভিনেতা।

দুই দফা জানাজা শেষে বুধবার সকাল সাড়ে ১০টার দিকে বনানী কবরস্থানে তাকে দাফন করা হয়।নায়করাজ রাজ্জাকের জন্ম ১৯৪২ সালে কলকাতায়। ১৯৬৪ সালে ঢাকায় আসেন তিনি। এরপর জড়িয়ে পড়েন চলচ্চিত্রের সঙ্গে। প্রথমে দু’একটা সিনেমায় ছোটখাটো চরিত্রে অভিনয় করার পর ৬৭ সালে মুক্তি পায় নায়ক হিসেবে তার প্রথম চলচ্চিত্র ‘বেহুলা’। সেই থেকে জীবনের শেষ দিন পর্যন্ত তার জনপ্রিয়তায় এতটুকুও ভাটা পড়েনি কখনো।

নায়ক রাজ্জাক অভিনীত উল্লেখযোগ্য সিনেমার মধ্যে রয়েছে- অবুঝ মন, ময়নামতি, অশিক্ষিত, ঝড়ের পাখি, রংবাজ, বদনাম, আলোর মিছিল, অবাক পৃথিবী, দুই পয়সার আলতা ইত্যাদি।
